Experience Nurse Practitioner in hospice and palliative care opening at a fantastic practice in eastern North Carolina. The Nurse Practitioner must have experience working in palliative care, or similar practice. The hours are Monday-Friday , no weekends for a wonderful work/life balance.
The Nurse Practitioner will need to be able to practice independently, although will have a full supportive, cohesive and experience team mentors. Excellent compensation, full benefits and more.
Requirements for the Nurse Practitioner:
- Experience working in hospice or similar
- NC license, or eligible
- Graduated from an accredited school
- Capable of expanding knowledge or skill enhancement in either a formal or informal setting
- Ability to establish and maintain a positive and cooperative working relationship with all team members
- Must be able to work independently & have reliable transportation
- Must have the compassion it takes to work in this field

Responsibilities of the Nurse Practitioner:
- Collaborate with physicians, patients and their families, nurses, therapists, social workers and other members of the patient care team to develop a patient specific care and treatment plan
- Assess, monitor, document and report progress of patient's health and condition using required documents, reports and established timelines
